In line with its steadfast support of the “Let’s Be Aware” (Diraya) campaign for the fifth consecutive year

For the fifth consecutive year, Burgan Bank reaffirmed its support for the “Let’s Be Aware” (Diraya) campaign, led by the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Banking Association. In line with the campaign’s goals, the Bank launched a special Eid Al-Fitr awareness initiative focusing on secure banking practices during travel.
The campaign offered practical tips on safe card usage, the importance of activating SMS alerts, avoiding public Wi-Fi, and protecting personal data. It also warned against common fraud risks, such as sharing OTPs or using compromised ATMs.
Commenting on the initiative, Ms. Hessa Al-Najadah, Senior Manager – Corporate and CSR Communications, said:
“Travel should be enjoyable and secure. Our awareness campaign ensures customers are equipped with the knowledge they need for safe banking abroad.”
This initiative reflects Burgan Bank’s ongoing commitment to financial literacy and customer protection as part of its wider CSR program.
