Jordan Kuwait Bank launches ‘She’s an Entrepreneur’ program

Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB), in partnership with the Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women, launched the ‘She’s an Entrepreneur’ program, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to empowering women and promoting a healthy work-life balance.

This collaboration introduces an annual mentorship initiative for the bank’s female employees. The program will feature regular meetings with accomplished businesswomen, enabling participants to gain insights into overcoming challenges in various economic sectors, achieving work-life balance and developing leadership skills.
Commenting on the initiative, Chief Operating & Support Officer, Mr. Daoud Issa said:
"We recognize the essential role women play in advancing economic and social progress. This program reflects our commitment to equipping our female employees with the skills and confidence they need to excel as leaders. This initiative is a key pillar of our corporate strategy and aligns with our dedication to empowering Jordanian women to achieve both professional success and a balanced life.”
On her part, President of the Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women, Dr. Reem Al Baghdadi said:
“We are proud to collaborate with JKB on this initiative, which underscores the critical role of empowering women in the workplace. The program provides a valuable platform for knowledge sharing between successful businesswomen and the bank’s employees.”
The program includes monthly mentoring sessions where 10 to 20 female employees will meet with 12 experienced businesswomen to learn from their success stories, experiences and growth strategies.
